H.R.1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act H.R. 4016 - Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2026 S. 2572 - Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2026 H.R. 5304 - Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2026 S. 2587 - Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2026 H.R.3944 - Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, Agriculture, and Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2026 Supporting the following funding levels in FY25 appropriations bills: $51.3 billion for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for fiscal year (FY) 2026. Supporting established funding levels for Medicare and Medicaid and protection of Medicaid's current financing structure. DoD- Working to restore funding for the Congressionally Directed MS Research Program which was zeroed out. Specifically advocating for $22 million for the MS Research Program. Joined with coalition partners to send a letter to the Appropriations Committee leadership on the NIH-wide strategic plan asking for report language to ensure the plan is carefully executed with input from key stakeholders that prioritize cutting edge research and investments.

Met with various Members of Congress to explain the importance of these credits for their constituents.

H.R.1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act Joined with coalition partners to ask CMS to eliminate Medicare guidance that prohibits Medicare coverage of standing systems in power wheelchairs. Encouraged the agency to initiate rulemaking to create and establish a timelier and more predictable pathway for Medicare coverage of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) designated breakthrough medical technologies.

H.R.1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act Over the course of the last quarter joined with various coalition partners to advocate for restoring NIH funding grants for medical research. Worked with partners to ask Appropriations Committee leadership for report language on the NIH-wide strategic plan to ensure the plan is carefully executed with input from key stakeholders that prioritize cutting edge research and investments. Worked with other groups to send a Letter to Appropriations Committee leadership supporting the work of the Joint Associations Group on Indirect Costs (JAG)s effort to develop a new, more transparent model for ensuring that institutions essential research costs are adequately supported.

Joined with a broad coalition of charitable organizations urging OPM suspend any action to cancel the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

Commented on DOL's proposed changes Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, specifically on changes that allowed the employees of Federal Contractors self-identify disability status and the elimination of disability utilization goal for Federal Contractors.
