Supporting established funding levels for Medicare and Medicaid and protection of Medicaid's current financing structure. DoD- Working to restore funding for the Congressionally Directed MS Research Program which was zeroed out. Specifically advocating for $22 million for the MS Research Program. Joined with coalition partners to send a letter to the Appropriations Committee leadership on the NIH-wide strategic plan asking for report language to ensure the plan is carefully executed with input from key stakeholders that prioritize cutting edge research and investments.

H.R.1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act Over the course of the last quarter joined with various coalition partners to advocate for restoring NIH funding grants for medical research. Worked with partners to ask Appropriations Committee leadership for report language on the NIH-wide strategic plan to ensure the plan is carefully executed with input from key stakeholders that prioritize cutting edge research and investments.

Government Issues

Joined with a broad coalition of charitable organizations urging OPM suspend any action to cancel the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).
