International student and scholar issues, including those related to status in the US. Issues related to agency reorganization and program prioritization as well as research security and integrity, including faculty disclosures, foreign gifts and contracts reporting, international graduate students and scholars in STEM fields, data privacy, and research transparency, including open access. Investment in the federal science agencies, including NSF, DOEs Office of Science, and NIST, workforce development and related issues, and supply chain resilience, major research equipment and facilities, climate and sustainability, F&A, and the commercialization of university-based discoveries.

The federal-university partnership in biomedical education, training, and research, clinical and translational science, mental health, pandemic preparation and response, and collaborative engagements domestically and internationally.
