Engaged with members of the House and Senate Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education (Labor-HHS) Appropriations Committees regarding Fiscal Year 2026 funding for the Paralysis Resource Center (PRC), advocating for continued support of the program.

Opposed a proposal by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to include ostomy and urological supplies in the next round of Competitive Bidding. Submitted a formal comment letter in opposition to the proposed rule and engaged with CMS leadership, members of Congress, and OMB officials to advocate for the removal of these supplies from the proposed program.

Advocated through our coalition partners for enforcement of U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations protecting airline passengers who use wheelchairs, including engagement with DOT officials to ensure compliance and accountability within the airline industry.

Advocated through our Coalition partners with members of Congress and relevant officials to support continued funding for Spinal Cord Injury Research Program (SCIRP) through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), including meetings with coalition partners to coordinate advocacy efforts.
