Funding programs at DOT (FRA,FTA) to include CRISI and INFRA and rail policy in the IIJA, HR 3684 and funding in FY 26- 27 Appropriations to include Budget legislation and surface transportation re-authorization. Monitor regulatory and legislative action related to railroads and public transit, including S.576, Railway Safety Act of 2023 updates and BUILD America 250 Act and issues related to railroad emissions regulations.
Commuter tax benefits. Issues regarding dedicated regional sales tax for transportation and H.R.1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act and other budget legislation.
