* On October 30, ADLM joined with other healthcare groups in writing to House and Senate leaders supporting H.R.5269/S.2761, the Reforming and Enhancing Sustainable Updates to Laboratory Testing Services (RESULTS) Act, which would create a new, more equitable Medicare clinical laboratory fee schedule. ADLM also conducted a grassroots campaign targeting House and Senate members in support of the legislation.
*ADLM conducted a grassroots campaign urging its members to contact House and Senate members in support of including $10 million in the FY26 budget for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to improve pediatric reference intervals (PRIs). *On December 10th, ADLM joined with other healthcare providers in writing to the leaders on the House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor HHS Education & Related Agencies urging them to provide funding for the CDC National Center for Environmental Health.
On October 31st, ADLM joined a coalition of healthcare groups in writing to the Department of Homeland Security seeking a national interest exemption (NIE) for pathologists and medical and public health laboratory professionals from the Administration's $100,000 H-1B fee for working in the United States.
