Supporting a nonitemizer charitable deduction, the Charitable Act, (S. 317/H.R. 801) to allow taxpayers claiming the standard deduction to also deduct charitable contributions. Supporting and strengthening the historic tax credit. H.R. 1, One Big Beautiful Bill Act, provisions impacting charitable giving including supporting a nonitemizer charitable deduction, opposing expanding excise tax on investment income of university endowments, opposing increasing foundation excise tax, and opposing floors and limits on charitable giving contributions for itemized deductions.
