Led a letter co-signed by over 200 agricultural organizations urging the Trump administration to extend assistance to producers. Sent a letter to Undersecretary Richard Fordyce urging that the marketing assistance loan program, in particular, remain operational. Joined in supporting the nomination of Michael Selig to serve as Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Submitted comments to the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) related to the agencys Section 301 trade investigation of Nicaragua. Joined other members of the Food and Agriculture Climate Alliance in a letter to Secretary Brooke Rollins urging USDA to move forward with several conservation program actions now that the government has reopened. Meetings with USDA Farm Service Agency staff regarding implementation of the provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
