Government Issues

- Hosted GRLI proect completion event and invited OH Senators (+staff), an NE OH Congressional Office Member (+ staff) and U.S EPA Region 5 to attend - thank you letters and other gratitude communications were extended to all those that attended - Hosted and invited all NE OH Congressional Members/OH Senators and their staff to the District's annual Clean Water Fest - Coordinated with a NE OH Congressional Office to get the Members signature to release tuition funds for the District's Louis Stokes Scholarship

- Continued to coordinate and submit required documentation with federal U.S. EPA officials regarding implementation of our prior appropriated Community Project Funding (CPF) - Submitted letter to U.S. EPA responding to the Biosolids risk assessment for PFAS - Submitted letter to the Army Corps of Engineers responding to the proposed 2026 Nationwide Permits - Performed advocacy to NE OH Congressional offices regarding PFAS related language proposed to the Senate NDAA, S. 2296

Budget/Appropriations

- Submitted letter from 27+ utility asking the Ohio Congressional Delegation to restore the State Revolving Loan Funds (SRF's) to their 2025 levels - Requested Earmark Application Feedback from OH Senator Offices - Performed advocacy around LIHWAP policy and funding including the standing alone bill of H.R. 4733 - Received notification from NE OH Congressional Member regarding earmark inclusion in the House Budget
