Our policy supports a voluntary update, but not mandatory. #59 by Costa that would strike Section 12006 of the bill that prevents state and local governments from enacting or enforcing as a condition for sale of meat and poultry products any condition or standard other than standards for covered livestock within the state. #97 by Pingree that would include H.R. 7601, the No Immunity for Glyphosate Act, which would undo the February 18 Executive Order that promotes the use of glyphosate and insulates manufacturers of the chemical from liability.
