Project Prevent Grant Program. This program, according to the Dept. of Education, "provides grants to local educational agencies (LEAs) impacted by community violence and to expand the capacity of LEAs to implement community- and school-based strategies to help prevent community violence and mitigate the impacts of exposure to community violence."

Health Issues

Community Mental Wellness and Resiliency Act (not yet introduced in the 119th Congress by the end of the second quarter). This legislation addresses the community trauma caused by natural disasters.
