Support in general energy title programs of the farm bill, PL 115-334 (and prior investments in for example the Inflation Reduction Act). Primarily focus on 3 "core" programs within the title, "REAP," "Biopreferred" and the "Biorefinery, Renewable Chemical and Biobased Products Program". Advocate for effective implementation at USDA, as well as full appropriations via annual appropriations. Also expressing concerns regarding staffing, loss thereof, potentially impacting effective program(s) support for farmers, rural small businesses and rural communities. Requesting consideration and review of recent August Rural Development guidance for the aforementioned REAP program.
