Support reintroduction of the Safer Sports for Athletes Act. This bill would create safer sports for athletes through key revisions that would improve the process for athlete survivors and revise training guidelines. In addition, generally advocate for the U.S. Center for SafeSport to fulfill its mission to protect athletes; examine challenges to timely investigations, case resolutions and transparency; and probe opportunities for improvement.
Supported reintroduction of the Survivor Justice Tax Prevention Act. This legislation will amend the nations tax code to ensure survivors of sexual abuse and unwanted and illegal sexual contact do not have to pay taxes on settlement income when they prevail legally against their abuser.
