Increase R&D for next generation geothermal energy production including the "Supercritical Geothermal Research and Development Act" which directs research, development, demonstration, and commercial application activities at the Department of Energy to support supercritical geothermal and closed loop geothermal systems in supercritical conditions. Informing Congress of carbon capture and storage efforts across the country and encouraged continued supported for implementation. Promotion of nuclear energy production.
