H.R. 6687 - DRIVER Act: Advocacy to require motor vehicle manufacturers to provide vehicle owners with real-time, secure, and no-cost access to vehicle-generated data. Vehicle Data Ownership & Autonomy: Advocacy in support of H.R. 6734 and S. 3494 (Auto Data Privacy and Autonomy Act) to ensure vehicle owners retain joint control over vehicle-generated data and the ability to share such data with third parties without manufacturer-imposed fees or licensing constraints. Peer-to-l Peer (P2P) Safety and Recall Parity: Advocacy related to peer-to-peer vehicle sharing platforms and vehicle recall obligations, including issues considered as part of surface transportation reauthorization, to ensure consistent federal safety and recall standards across rental and shared vehicle platforms.
