H.R.9171 FY 27 Interior, Environment and Related Agencies Appropriation bill and H.R.9022 FY27 Energy & Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations bill and Senate versions. Support Congressionally Directed Spending and Community Project Funding for a landfill facility. Initiate a feasibility study in response to the imminent and recurring threat of glacial flooding in Juneau.

Support flood fighting efforts under the Flood Control and Coastal Emergency Act. Support securing authorization and funding for a general investigation feasibility study in response to the imminent and recurring threat of glacial flooding in Juneau. Support homeport initiative for US Coast Guard icebreaker, including development of supplemental local housing for assigned personnel. Monitor US Coast Guard refitting and commissioning of a commercially-available icebreaker, and monitor US Coast Guard homeport capital planning.

Support, monitor, and track short term funding for pre-disaster mitigation from various federal agencies. Support implementation of Pub.L. 118-158 American Relief Act 2025. Support USACE work on project scoping and geotechnical studies for an emergency tunnel to address the imminent and recurring threat of glacial flooding. Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery funding; and FEMA Disaster Relief Fund funding. Support regulatory flexibility to allow bank stabilization along a dynamic, glacier-fed river. Support continued advanced measures/technical assistance and flood fighting/emergency management.

Support legislative proposals in the next Surface Transportation (H.R.8870) and Water Resources Authorization bill (H.R.9497 and S.4949).

Support Congressionally Directed Spending and Community Project Funding for landfill facilities.
