H.R. 1, referred to as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and/or the Budget reconciliation package (Republicans' One Big Beautiful Bill Act). Within H.R. 1, addressed the Federal Pell Grant Program, (1) Pell eligibility changes that would make students enrolling for less than 7.5 credits ineligible for Pell grant funding and (2) the projected Pell fund shortfall. Within H.R. 1, addressed support for the Workforce Pell Grant Program: (1) allows eligible students to use the Pell grant when enrolling in workforce focused programs that are between 8 and 15 weeks of length (150 to 600 clock hours).
