P.L. 117-58 - Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) implementation. Support flood fighting efforts under the Flood Control and Coastal Emergency Act. Support securing funding for a general investigations feasibility study in response to the Presidentially-declared Juneau glacial flood disaster. Senate FY26 Energy & Water - Support securing funding to initiate a feasibility study for replacement of an essential breakwater. Support homeport initiative for US Coast Guard icebreaker, including development of supplemental local housing for assigned personnel. Monitor US Coast Guard refitting and commissioning of a commercially-available icebreaker, and monitor US Coast Guard homeport capital planning. Support funding for marine infrastructure.

Support, monitor, and track short term funding for pre-disaster mitigation from various federal agencies. Implementation of P.L. 118-158 American Relief Act, 2025- support funding a general investigation new start feasibility study; Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery funding; and FEMA Disaster Relief Fund funding. Support regulatory flexibility to allow bank stabilization along a dynamic, glacier-fed river. H.Rept. 119-173 - Support pre-disaster mitigation funding for flood resilience. Support continued advanced measures/technical assistance and flood fighting/emergency management.
