Advocated for Congress to ensure expenditure of FY25 appropriations and robustly appropriate funding for FY26 and FY27 for HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention programs in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) at the Dept. of Health & Human Services, including the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (HRSA), the Ending the HIV Epidemic program (HRSA & CDC), a national pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) initiative (CDC), and HIV research programs at NIH that would be appropriated through the Labor, Health & Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies appropriations bill.
