Allow retirement plan managers to access anonymized health claims data.
This bill would amend the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to let plan fiduciaries (the people and companies responsible for managing retirement plans) access de-identified health claims information. De-identified means the data would have personal details removed so individuals cannot be identified. The bill is currently in the House Committee on Education and Workforce.
Referred to the House Committee on Education and Workforce.
