Emerging Pathogen Preparedness Program Authorization Act
This bill establishes a program in the Food and Drug Administration's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research to support the development and approval of biological countermeasures. Authorized activities include the development of quality measures for countermeasures, surveillance programs to monitor countermeasures, and research and development of platform vaccine technology to support emergency use authorization requests.
