Preparing for All Hazards and Pathogens Reauthorization Act

This bill reauthorizes through FY2028 and modifies public health preparedness and response programs and activities.

This includes

  • initiatives of the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response to address public health or national security threats, such as pandemic influenza;
  • the Hospital Preparedness Program and other efforts to enhance the capacity of the health care system to respond to threats and emergencies; and
  • various programs to support the response of volunteer health care providers and other professionals to disasters and emergencies (e.g., the Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps).
