This resolution recognizes the importance of enhancing trade and investment relations between the Caribbean and the United States. It also urges the President to prioritize trade engagement with the Caribbean region that promotes sustainable and resilient economic development.
Referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and in addition to the Committee on Ways and Means, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
