This resolution amends Rule I of the Rules of Procedure and Practice in the Senate When Sitting on Impeachment Trials.

Specifically, the resolution requires the House of Representatives to notify or otherwise provide to the Senate the adopted articles of impeachment within 25 calendar days from their adoption. Such articles shall be deemed presented to the Senate if this requirement is not met. Furthermore, it shall be in order for any Senator to offer a motion (required to be adopted) to dismiss the articles with prejudice.
