Financial Accountability in Reporting Act or the FAIR Act
This bill requires an individual who filed a financial disclosure report as a candidate for the office of President, Vice President, or Member of Congress to file a financial disclosure report by May 15 of the year in which the individual assumed the position or within 30 days of assuming the position, whichever is later.
Referred to the Committee on Oversight and Reform, and in addition to the Committee on House Administration, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
