Global Health Security Act of 2018

This bill directs the President to create the Global Health Security Agenda Interagency Review Council, which shall facilitate implementation of the Global Health Security Agenda, an initiative launched by nearly 30 nations to address global infectious disease threats. The President shall also designate a National Security Council employee as a special advisor responsible for coordinating the interagency response to global health security emergencies.
