United States-Israel Directed Energy Cooperation Act

This bill authorizes the Department of Defense (DOD) to carry out research, development, test, and evaluation activities on a joint basis with Israel to establish directed energy capabilities that address threats to the United States, its deployed forces, or Israel.

DOD may provide Israel with maintenance and sustainment support for such activities provided that Israel contributes at least a matching amount or an amount that otherwise meets Israel's best efforts, as mutually agreed to by the United States and Israel.
