Strengthening Coastal Communities Act of 2018

(Sec. 2) This bill modifies certain boundaries of the John H. Chafee Coastal Barrier Resources System Units located in Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. (The John H. Chafee Coastal Barrier Resources System consists of those undeveloped coastal barriers and other areas located on the coasts of the United States that are identified and generally depicted on the map on file with the Department of the Interior titled "Coastal Barrier Resources System.")

(Sec. 3) Interior must publish digital versions of its Coastal Barrier Resources System maps on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service website.

Interior must submit to Congress a report regarding the progress and challenges of transitioning from paper to digital maps and a timetable for completion of the digitization.
