Reducing the Effects of the Cyberattack on OPM Victims Emergency Response Act of 2018 or the RECOVER Act

This bill amends the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2017 to extend the availability of free identity protection coverage for individuals whose personally identifiable information was compromised by data breaches at federal agencies. The bill requires the Office of Personnel Management to continue providing the coverage for the lifetime of the affected individuals.
