School Training, Equipment, and Protection Act of 2018 or the STEP Act of 2018

This bill requires specified funds from student support and academic enrichment grants to be provided to elementary and secondary schools for security purposes, including barricade and surveillance technology, individualized active shooter alarms, security and active shooter training, coordination activities with law enforcement agencies, and vulnerability assessments.
