Veterans Federal Hiring Protection Act of 2017

This bill declares that notwithstanding any presidential action to prevent a federal agency from filling or creating federal civilian employee positions, an agency may appoint an individual to such a position that will be filled by an individual who is a preference eligible veteran, disabled veteran, or a specified relative of a veteran.
