Servicemembers' Choice in Transition Act

Directs the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to permit members of the Armed Forces who are being separated from active duty and their spouses to elect to receive the following types of additional training under the Department of Labor's transition assistance program:

  • preparation for higher education or training,
  • preparation for career or technical training, and
  • preparation for entrepreneurship.
