Includes, under authorized medical care provided through the Department of Defense (DOD) for the spouses and dependent children of veterans who are on active duty for more than 30 days, the following with respect to dental care: (1) necessary care adjunct to medical or surgical treatment; and (2) for patients with developmental, mental, or physical disabilities or for pediatric patients age five or under, institutional and anesthesia services.
