Troops Phone Home Free Extension Act - Amends the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004, as amended by the Ronald W. Reagan National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2005, respecting the Department of Defense (DOD) telecommunications benefit program to: (1) expand coverage from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom to any contingency operation (including Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom); (2) revise the deadline from September 30, 2006, through the date that is 60 days after the date on which the Secretary of Defense determines that a contingency operation has ended; and (3) include members of the Armed Forces who are hospitalized as a result of wounds or other injuries incurred while serving in direct support of a contingency operation.

Defines "contingency operation."
