Amends the Energy Policy Act of 1992 to extend through 1998 the Electric and Magnetic Fields Research and Public Information Dissemination Program, along with corresponding deadlines for the submission of certain reports concerning the extent to which human health is affected by exposure to electric and magnetic fields produced by electric energy.
Reduces authorized appropriations from $65 million to $46 million.
