COBRA-Continuation ERISA Disabilities Amendments of 1989 - Amends the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to extend from 18 to 29 months the continuation of certain health insurance coverage to be offered to those with a disability at the time of termination of employment, if they notify the plan administrator of such disability determination before the end of the 18-month period.
