On the Motion to Table S.Amdt. 2289 to H.R. 2646 (Education Savings Act for Public and Private Schools Education Savings and School Excellence Act of 1998)

To provide an additional 100,000, well-qualified elementary and secondary school teachers annually to the national pool of such teachers during the 10-year period beginning with 1999 through a new student loan forgiveness program.
