- Safer Detention Act (no number yet), legislation to expand elderly home confinement and compassionate release eligibility within the Bureau of Prisons - EQUAL Act (no number yet), a bill to eliminate the sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine - HALT Fentanyl Act (S 331)- bill places fentanyl-related substances as a class into schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act - Appropriations advocacy to rescind funding for a proposed federal prison in eastern Kentucky and fully fund the District of Columbia - DC Local Funds Act (S.1077) - bill to restore locally-raised funds to the DC budget - Raul Gomez Officer Safety Act (HR 35) - bill which would have criminalized flight from an ICE agent - People's Response Act - create a new Division on Community Safety within the Department of Health and Human Services, then use this Division to fund evidence-informed community safety programs nationwide. - Break the Cycle of Violence Act - create a new Office of Community Violence Intervention (CVI) within the Department of Health and Human Services, then use this office to support CVI workforce development and fund CVI program. - Mental Health Justice Act - supports non-police responder models. - Family Violence Prevention & Services Improvement Act - fund DV prevention like hotlines.
