Lobbying in support of S. 3723 and H.R. 7288, the Western South Dakota Water Supply Project Feasibility Study Act, legislation requiring the Secretary of the Interior, working with the Western Dakota Regional Water System, Inc., to conduct a feasibility study to determine whether a project to supply municipal, rural, and industrial water from the Missouri River to the Western Dakota Regional Water System is feasible. Lobbying issues include Bureau of Reclamation participation, feasibility-study authorization, federal cost-share structure, long-term rural water supply planning, and municipal, rural, and industrial water infrastructure needs in western South Dakota.
