Working on Farm Bill in both the House and Senate. This includes nutrition programs: SNAP, Food for Peace, WIC, LFPA and LFS, Food Loss and Waste, McGovern-Dole and the RESTORE Act. Focus on adequate anti-hunger provisions. Local and regional procurement.
On the domestic side, we are focused on full funding for WIC and SNAP and engaged in reconciliation, Continuing Resolution, rescissions and budget bills. On the international side, we are focused on Food for Peace, McGovern-Dole, local and regional procurement, and nutrition and global health programs. As well as, Feed the Future, International Disaster Assistance (IDA), International Financial Institutions (IFIs).
Working on Humanitarian funding and development. Mainly Food for Peace, McGovern Dole, Local and Regional Procurement, International and Financial Institutions, State Department Reauthorization, the NDAA, the US Foundation for Food Security Act, and the African Growth and Opportunity Act.
Working on the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), and agriculture trade.
