Monitor enactment and implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (P.L. 117-58) and Inflation Reduction Act (P.L. 117-169) and track potential cuts or delays in awards. Issues related to the repeal of limited MTO anti-trust immunity under the Shipping Act. Work with members to reintroduce a bill to expand the MARAD Capital Construction Fund for purchases of cargo handling equipment at U.S. ports. Issues related to draft bipartisan, bicameral SHIPS Act and the full-year fiscal 2025 continuing resolution (H.R. 1968).
