Submitted appropriations requests for FY 2026; outreach related to possible cuts to Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program in the reconciliation bill.
Outreach related to the Space National Guard bill (H.R. 2042/S. 963), which aligns with the Administration's priority to establish a Space National Guard.
Outreach related to violation of Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) issued in case of State of New York, et al Vs. Trump, Case No. 25-cv-39-JJm-PAS, where the state is unable to draw down funds for FEMA awards; Letter to President Trump, with recommendation of having governors on the FEMA Council.
Outreach related to SIP and reformulated gas.
Outreach related to the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program and sharing concerns the Secretary of Commerce had about access to reliable high-speed internet, while asking that no changes further delay getting internet into homes. The letter to Secretary of Commerce Lutnick included suggestions from the State of Colorado on ways to streamline the program, along with other improvement recommendations; Outreach related to the freezing of federal funds and disbursements to the state.
Outreach related to the Colorado Promise Program and clarity on IRS issue related to Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR).
