Lobbying for CITY OF SAINT PAUL ISLAND, ALASKA · The City of Saint Paul is a municipal government that depends on fisheries.
Represent City of Saint Paul on issues related to relevant fisheries legislation including Magnuson-Stevens Act (MSA) amendments; Crab Rationalization Program; fishery disaster provisions of the MSA; and halibut fishery management issues including funding for the International Pacific Halibut Commission.
Represent City of Saint Paul on issues regarding tribal fishery rights, federal trust responsibilities toward Alaska Natives; and fulfillment of federal obligations to Saint Paul resulting from the PL 104-91 process, the Fur Seal Act Amendments of 1983, and the Pribilof Island Transition Act of 2000.
Assist City of Saint Paul with requests for grants and funding for Corps of Engineers and other infrastructure projects to maintain and improve the Saint Paul Harbor and support the US fishing industry and Coast Guard operations in the Bering Sea; assist with Department of Transportation FAA and EAS programs to ensure support for Saint Paul airport upgrades and essential air service.
