Provided feedback on the National Veterans Strategy Act HR 8224, advocating for language on employment quality and outcomes, access to small business and entrepreneurship resources, and navigation support; advocated for expanding the demographics and metrics in S3726, National Veterans Strategy Act; status of the Fox Grant reauthorization legislation and suggested improvements to the program to include increased funding, grant allocations for food, beverages, transportation, geographic challenges; Support of CHOW Act S.2772 with food insecurity language and looking for a solution for food insecurity, which would provide junior enlisted servicemembers with additional support to purchase healthy food options at military commissaries.
