Health Issues

In Q1 2025, Upstream USA was focused on doing outreach to House Congressional members regarding the threats to Medicaid cuts in the budget resolution process and the implications they would have to contraceptive access. We did not do any advocacy on specific legislation.

Medicare/Medicaid

In Q1 2025, we reached out to House Congressional members to urge them not to vote in favor of any Medicaid cuts through the budget resolution process. We also provided information/stats about the implications Medicaid cuts would have on the general population and, more specifically, contraceptive access. This was all done via email outreach.
