Assist in communications with relevant agencies, authorizing committees, and delegation on the importance of water infrastructure and need for investment. Track and report on the Bureau of Reclamations programs and funding. Assist in communications to the Bureau of Reclamation advocating to preserve mission-critical functions.
Track and report on the development of the upcoming Water Resources and Development Act (WRDA). Advocate for the inclusion of priorities in the upcoming WRDA bill.
Track and report on the Clean Water Act related legislation and rulemaking. Track and report on PFAS related legislation and rulemaking. Track and report on Safe Drinking Water Act related regulations and rulemakings.
Track and report on the development of the Farm Bill.
Track and report on the FY 2026 and FY 2027 appropriations and budget process. Advocate for the inclusion of priorities through programmatic funding requests in the FY2027 appropriations process. Advocate for H.R. 3035/S. 1760, the Restoring WIFIA Eligibility Act of 2025.
Track and report on proposed revisions to categorical exclusions under the National Environment Policy Act. Track and report on the Council on Environmental Quality rulemaking regarding National Environmental Policy Act regulations. Track and report on agency and department-level rulemaking and guidance regarding National Environmental Policy Act regulations and implementation.
