In support of H.R.1355 and S.1342 - Weatherization Enhancement and Readiness Act. Reauthorize & Sustain Funding Ensures Weatherization Assistance Program continues receiving federal support. Readiness Program Creation Empowers the Secretary of Energy to begin prepping homes-via inspections, assessments, and repair eligibility-to streamline actual weatherization efforts. In support of Senate Bill S. 2106, officially titled the SECURE Act (Safe Environment from Countries Under Repression and Emergency Act). Creates a pathway to lawful permanent residency (a green card) for individuals from certain countries who satisfy specific eligibility criteria  The bill is focused on addressing humanitarian and emergency situations-providing protected immigration status for individuals fleeing repression or crises, hence the acronym "SECURE".

Labor Issues/Antitrust/Workplace

In support of the Job Corps program and against any effort to defund or dismantle the program.

Taxation/Internal Revenue Code

In support of preserving the energy tax credits passed in the Inflation Reduction Act as it pertains to the Reconciliation Bill.
