 Lobbying activity 1
Labor Issues/Antitrust/Workplace

ACCSES NJ advocates before Congress for policies that expand employment opportunities while preserving choice for people with disabilities. Our federal priorities include protecting access to 14(c) employment programs while opposing efforts to eliminate them without a realistic transition plan, supporting reforms that preserve informed choice under WIOA, and advancing legislation that modernizes federal disability employment policy and terminology. We also support SSI asset limit reform so individuals with disabilities can work, save, and build financial security without risking essential benefits. These efforts are guided by a simple principle: expanding opportunity, increasing independence, and ensuring that no person with a disability is left behind by federal policy changes.
