FY2027 Energy and Water Appropriations: Support funding for Bureau of Reclamation programs including: CALFED, WIIN Storage projects, desalination, water recycling, large-scale water recycling, ecosystem restoration projects, water and energy efficiency grants, Colorado River Salinity Control Program, DOIs water conservation obligations under the DCP, and Safety of Dams program. Support funding for DOEs Moab Uranium Mill Tailing Remedial Action Project. FY2027 Interior-Environment Appropriations: Support funding for the USGS Water and Science Program, and a variety of programs at EPA including: Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds, WIFIA, National Priorities Water Research Grant Program, and the Innovative Water Technologies Grant Program. Support implementation of FY2026 Explanatory Statement on use of funds for repairs to Hoover Dam/ text of H.R. 3158 (Lee, D-NV)/S. 1570 (Cortez Masto (D-NV): Help Hoover Dam Act. Oppose Reclamations new selection criteria for WATERSMART program grants that awards points to applicants that agree to accept less than the maximum federal cost share allowed under law.
