Monitor international trade proposals and their impact on U.S. pork production.

Educate Members and the Administration about the pork supply chain; advocate for pork producers due to economic harm from supply chain and other market disruptions; educate policymakers about emerging infectious diseases in the pork industry and monitor the Farm Bill reauthorization process and animal health legislation. Monitor and advise on policy developments pertaining to market oversight and competition matters, including the Administration's Executive Order on Promoting Competition in the American Economy, Packers and Stockyards regulation, and relevant legislative efforts. Monitor USDA FSIS swine modernization efforts. Monitor the development of the FY26 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies Bill.
